  3. I was sleeved 12.3.2013: At my heaviest I was 339lbs Surgery Day I was 332lbs Today I am 223 (was 222 but apparently gained a pound..yikes!) I have been 222-222 since my wedding day 9.21.2014 I know why: #1 I have NOT been sticking to my diet #2 I have NOT been exercising like I should be The worst part: I seem to be eating more & more each day & my food cravings have returned full force! Physically, my body gets full. Psychologically, I am never completely satisfied anymore. I miss the days when I would eat 2-3 bites of food, feel full, & not want to think about food for several hours. Now after I finish Breakfast all I do is think about lunch! HELP!
  4. Amazing how different bodies wear different sizes!!!! At my heaviest (339lbs) I was wearing a size 24. I'm 242lbs now & wearing a size 18! I'd love to get down to a size 10 at my goal!!
  5. You look great & I bet you feel amazing! I'm 6 months out & can't get over my incredible energy level! Continued success, buddy!!

  12. I love GNC Total Lean in Vanilla, chocolate, & strawberry. 170 calories, low sugar, 25g Protein. I bring a case to work so I know I always have a high protein meal or snack. I want to try those Muscle Milk 100 suggestions above! They sound delicious!
  13. Ok...here it goes: Well, I've never had a problem with constipation. I do now! Not really weird or strange but a pain in the butt! (literally) Also, my libido is off the charts!!! I can't get enough! I guess with all the energy I have since I'm not dragging around all that extra weight sex is fun again! I got engaged in February so I guess the whole libido thing is working for both of us! Probably the weirdest thing I've noticed is that my butt cheeks don't touch as much as they used to. I don't really know how to explain this. Like before, at my heaviest, I really had to work my hand in there in the shower to properly clean myself & also after using the restroom. It's not an issue anymore, at all.

New pictures of me! Happy & healthy!!
  15. I am also 4 months out & have hit a wall with my weight loss. I'm down 74 lbs & very happy about that but I have 90 more to go!!! This is supposed to be the time we are dropping it like it's hot! I blame my plateau on cheating on my diet, not getting enough Water in, & not exercising enough. Sooooo...I'm back on the horse & starting drinking Protein shakes again, parking at the far end of the lot, and putting myself on a food & supplement schedule. I have 5 alarms on my phone that go off every time it's time for me to take my supplements and/or eat. I'm also squeezing exercise in wherever I can. I brought an 8lb dumbbell set to work and do arm exercises during down time. I also do butt clenches & squats. I get very weird looks from my co-workers, but screw it! I'm loving all the new found energy I have everyday! I'm pretty much living on Protein Shakes, egg whites, grilled chicken, tuna salad, G2 & Powerade Zero, & Greek yogurt. That's really all we can do, right?? But you should be proud of 50 lbs, that's 50 lbs less your carrying around! Good job!!

  25. I'm 7 weeks post-op & I can tolerate most foods. Salads are fine as long as the veggies are not super crunchy (raw carrots) & I omit celery (too fiberous), even though celery is one of my fave foods! I stay away from mashed potatoes because I LOOOOOVE them but they do not love me anymore Unjury products are great! I use the cheese sauce over steamed broccoli. Greek yogurt is my hero! I can always get that down no matter what. I have to admit that I have given in to temptations a handful of times. My boyfriend made pancakes the other day & I ate half of one. But I paid for it for about 45 mins with pain & discomfort! I also ordered a toasted bagel with light cream cheese without even thinking on my way to work one morning and after my second bite that horrible feeling happened & I had to suffer at work for almost an hour! Also, the other day & started to get a horrible headache at work & my coworker poured a small cup of regular caffinated soda for me & I sipped it slowly. My headache went away but my tummy was quite upset with me for a while! Deli meats are fine, a small 4-6 oz glass of milk works wonders for any tummy upset & trouble sleeping, hard boiled eggs, tuna salad, chicken, fish, etc. I also love GNC Total Lean protein shakes: 25 grams of protein & they taste great. I miss things like an English muffin with my egg whites or a comforting PB&J sandwich with a glass of milk, but the scale numbers keep me very focus, motivated, & happy! It really comes down to trying things to see how you handle them. I was never a big fish eater, but with all the great recipes out there, I have fish 2-3 times a week! And plain, non-fat Greek yogurt can be used in place of mayo & sour cream in evreything! Oh also, I was always a guzzler of natural fruit juices (OJ, apple), but they make me feel horrible for a super long time! Too much suger, even though it's natural sugar from the fruit, it's just too much and I feel sick to my stomach & dizzy for the rest of the day even after one sip! Plain water, G2, diet Snapple, tea, Crystal Light: the only way to go for liquids!
  26. WOW!! That is phenomenal!! Bravo for not only slimming down but getting healthy! I can't wait until my closet has a nice selection of White House/Black Market, Cache, & Marshall Russo outfits!!! Keep up the great work!
  27. I'm 7 weeks out & I've noticed that certain exercises I do, particularly strength training, result is some discomfort and strain in my gut. I'm sure it's just the muscles mending & getting used to being back to exercise after many weeks of virtually nothing! If the pain is stabbing or you feel it's a little too intense, no harm in a doctor's visit! Good job on getting back to healthy!
