4 months protein question.

I will be 4 months in a few days. Are any of you at this point still drinking the protein shakes? Should I continue taking my 60 grams of protein a day or stop and start eating more?. I still don't eat that much.

I am 11 months post surgery and still have a Protein shake or fortified greek yogurt almost every day. I am not a huge fan of meat and I am allergic to soy, so I need the whey protein from the shakes to ensure I get my 60 grams each day.

4.5 months and DEFINITELY still use 1-2 shakes a day.

I was 4 months on April 3rd & I love Protein shakes!!! I either drink a GNC Total Lean or make my own with powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury protein, almond milk, plain Greek yogurt, & frozen berries. I work 2 jobs so I need the convenience. And they taste great to me!!

I plan on drinking Protein shakes for a long, long time. My doctor says he would like the majority of my calories & protein to come from "real food" but it's a lot easier to drink my protein then sit down and eat chicken or fish sometimes.

Whatever works for you that keeps the protein going in & is healthy!!

Good luck!

I feel the same way as all of you. I enjoy my syntrax protein. The first months it was hell finding a protein I liked Into I had syntrax I was so happy. Yes it's easier and for sure I know I'm getting my daily protein with my shakes. My nut also wants me to get my protein from food but sometimes I get off at 6:30 from work and I have my workout class at 8:00 so I feel rushed rushed so a shake is always great.

I am 5.5 months out and have a protein shake daily. That's the way I like to start my day!!

Yes! Definitely 1 sometimes 2 ;)
