I'm a married male in the San Francisco Bay Area. II had the sleeve on 2/25/14. I'm 41 years old and in good health. I decided to get surgery before my health started to deteriorate as I'm sure was inevitable. My weight was already getting in the way of activities I used to enjoy. So I decided I would give up one of my favorite past times so that I could enjoy a few others and live longer.
Since my surgery I have found my self somewhat depressed and decided to reach out to others in the same situation. I know the value of group therapy and talking with others. I hope to find answers to some of my questions and perhaps answer some.
