APRIL 21st Sleevers!

Hi all. Thought I would start and specific date thread so we can keep tabs on each other. I'm going to RE-introduce myself by pasting a previous post. Hope we can all get to know each other and provide support!!

My name is Sabrine and I am 36 yrs old. I am married for six years now. I've been having weight issues all of my life. Highest weight ever in high school was 374 pounds. Then I lost 200 pounds using ephedra. Once they yanked that off the shelves I slowly gained most of the weight back. Starting this journey December 30, 2013 my weight was 326 pounds. Began going to all of my doctors appointments and my preoperative tests. And I made my own personal lifestyle changes in preparation for the sleeve. Current weight is 279 pounds. My date is April 21, 2014. I have no home support for this whatsoever. My husband is against it as well as my sisters and my mother. I'm nervous scared and excited. I have two amazing kids Jackson is four and Olivia is 15 months. I'm having some serious second thoughts about this since I am losing weight and seeing results. I think I've bitched about it to anybody who will listen. Lol. Okay. Now it's somebody else's turn. What's your story???

Tomorrow is our big day. No nerves yet, just excited to start a new life. We will all share a new birthday. And how fitting to be the day after Easter, the celebration of all new life.

Good luck to you all tomorrow! I am pre sleeve . Surgery in Sep.

I totally agree with you I'm so ready to start this new life. its been a long time coming. have to go to my family's house for Easter not looking forward to being around all that food. the next time I'll be able to manage myself better. can't wait for tomorrow to come.

I can't wait. I'm trying to hurry home to enjoy a protein shake before starting my bowel prep. Gonna wash my hair to speed up the time.

One more day and we are SLEEVED!!!!! I can't believe it, we made it! :)

I don't have to do a bowel prep, only rny have to do them at the hospital I'm going to. I'm only allowed on Protein shake and one carb item off the list and unlimited Clear liquids. I do have to wash with that special soap twice, once tonight and once tomorrow morning. I have my bag packed and ready for 9:30am tomorrow morning to be at the hospital!

I been on all clear liquids today. Broth water Popsicles jello. No bowel prep. Im just ready to be sleeved now. Been with the family for Easter. So much food! Its been rough! On my way home now. Didnt pack much. Everyone says you wont need much

I didn't pack much, mostly what the doctors and nurses required me to bring. Keeping it very light.

Hello ladies...I wish you all the best of luck tomorrow and the easiest of recoveries. I'm so sorry I'm not going on this journey with you guys. I'll be thinking of you all. I've postponed for three months. So can't wait to read about your progress!!! You guys made it!!!

Good luck ladies!

Been awake since 4am. Too excited to sleep. Have a few minutes to drink some water so I'm not too dehydrated to start the IV. Needles are the worst part for me. Once I get past that I'm good to go.

Good luck!! I am on liquid diet and getting sleeved wed. I hope all goes well for you!

Ladies I pray for smooth surgeries and easy recovery for all of us. On my way to the hospital now.

We are enroute! Strange my dr didn't require a bowel prep...just stayed in same pre-op diet. Hope he doesn't 'run into anything'!! Oh I cannot wait to see those pounds start going. Good luck ladies!!
