Anyone else having a lot back pain 4 months post op?

I had my surgery Nov 27th and have lost 55 lbs I am very happy with the results so far but for the last 2 weeks I have had a lot of back pain and just a couple days ago having some pain on my left side just below my ribs and an incision it feels like a burning, pinching feeling, I have not had a temp or feeling sick so I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced these symptoms this far out?

I'm curious to see what responses you get here. ..I too am almost 4 months post op and have been having killer lower back pain. ..usually in the evenings... my hypochondriac mind is thinking kidneys lol

I was. It went away in the last month finally. Never found out what it was.

Interested to hear what others say.

Sometimes with rapid weight loss... The shifting of our insides, muscles and such can cause a nerve to be pinched. The burning , stabbing pain you described does sound like nerve pain. When you lose more weight things readjust again and the nerve gets unpinched and goes back to normal. Hope this helps! :D
