  3. There is a blog called "The world according to Eggface" it's awesome!!
  4. Less of Sarah, Flyegirl VSG, Molly sleeved, Kstar, VSG hope, go teems, Christie Blake, Lauren losing. To name a few..., once you've watched a few vlogs suggestions will pop up oh!! Candy pants, VSG tanya2011, Jennifer bleecher, billie's journey. Hope this helps!
  5. I take Fiber Gummies & use Benefiber in my protein shakes a couple times a week. Really helps me out!
  6. My NUT says 6-8 weeks... I'm totally right there with you!! 5 weeks out, I'm going to try on Wed. Which is my 6 weeks!
  7. The Bougie is the tube thingy that goes down your throat and into your stomach, our Surgeon uses it as a guide to staple around and make your new sized tummy.
  8. Those sound perfect! One more might be what size Bougie he uses. If you'd like to know
  9. I do almond milk... I can't do regular milk. No real protein but tastes better than a shake made with water!

  12. You most definately are on your way!!
  13. Good Luck!!! Hopefully your approval will actually come in within a few days!!! Congrats on your new beginning
  14. I'll be 3 weeks out tomorrow. I swear I feel hungry & have since day one post op!! It goes away when I eat of course but is back every 3-4 hours! I was soooo hoping it would be gone!!
  15. I'm post op!! My Surgery was on the 25th! Everything went great. I'm so lucky I have no vomiting, no nausea, no reflux, nothing!! I've not been able to tolerate protein shakes at all since surgery. My NUT is ok with me not having them, as long as I'm able to get my protein in thru eggs, Greek Yogurt & ground chicken.
  16. I'm five weeks out now and protein shakes of all types still run right through. No problem when I had them in Pre-surgery diet, but now ... it's just a question of some reacting not as quickly as some of the others. NUT says it will get better . I stepped away from whey and tried other proteins to no avail. But it is better than it was... Me too! I'm 2 weeks out on Tuesday. My Nut says only 1 protein shake a day 4oz am and the rest pm, and add 8oz of Soy Milk everyday. Idk I have a really hard time drinking ANY milk. But, since only having the 1 shake a day I am in the potty less.

  20. No bread!! Peanut Butter will most likely sit very heavy in your sleeve also. Have Eggs, Refried Beans, Greek Yogurt, Cottage Cheese instead
  21. That's Great!! Are you home now or not yet? Sounds like you're on the right track ????
