Hunger Pains?

I am four days out of surgery. Still just doing liquids and clears, can't seem to stomach protein or pureed soups yet. With that being said, I have awful "hunger pains". I thought they got rid of the hunger enzyme...so could this just be gas pain? Seems feasible that I would be hungry but not sure what these pains are....thoughts??

It's possible your mistaking gas for hunger but I am 6 days post op and def hungry. Once I get a protein shake down or some chicken broth it's gone but I'm def hungry. I was told once we start the mushy phase we feel the restriction and less hunger. At the end of the day I'm not dying to eat but the smells of certain food really make me hungry. Today I was able to eat a sugar free jello- it took about 10 mins to eat but I felt really full

After it. I too worry about the hormone that supposedly decreases our hunger? So far not feeling it?

I'll be 3 weeks out tomorrow. I swear I feel hungry & have since day one post op!! It goes away when I eat of course but is back every 3-4 hours! I was soooo hoping it would be gone!!
