Biotin for hair loss?

Hello!

I'm 1 week post op and thinking about adding Biotin to avoid hair loss. Any experience with this supplement? If so, how much do you take and does it work?

Also, is there anything else for hair loss you are taking that works or doesn't work?

I already have fine hair so I can't lose any! lol :)

Initially, this topic scared the living daylights out of me (pre-op). A year and a half later, I'm still very loyal to Biotin and I don't plan to stop. My hair is so thick, if there was hair loss, I don't see it. I've recently read Biotin taken in the dosage of 10,000 can somewhat be harmful to your health. I'm now starting to alternate 5,000 one day and 10,000 the other. All is still great!

HI Guys!

I did a lot of research on biotin and collagen pre op. I started taking these supplements before i got surgery, anticipating the hairloss...my hair grew like crazy, and i'm hoping it will not be so bad. But definately, the collagen helps a lot with skin as well.
