WLS in New Zealand

Hi there,

Is anyone in this community having/had WLS in New Zealand? If so what has been your experience, what weight loss centre did you use, and did you pay privately or go through the DHB?

I'm going for my preop checks in Christchurch next week, and although I've talked to a lot of people overseas, I've yet to meet anyone who's been through Gastric Sleeve here.

Any help would be appreciated! :D

    I had my gastric sleeve nearly 8 months ago but had it done in mexico.

    Some wait for up to 6 years here. I went to mexico cheaper and affordable. 1/3 the price.
