  1. If you pay my airfare it's a deal, Alex seeing as I can't afford the $2,000 plane fare to LA and back!
  2. I'd love to come to this and thanks for the invite, but it's a bit far to come from Auckland, New Zealand!
  3. I'm from New Zealand and on trying to get on the ADHB WLS bariatric surgery list
  4. It's as if they've moved the goalposts. I'm on Optifast at the moment. Anyone else on this?
  5. I am wanting to have the sleeve operation. My doctor made a referral to the bariatric team at our city hospital and I had an appointment with the bariatric nurse. She said I wouldn't be considered until I showed them I could lose some weight independently. So I was told to lose 22 kg (48 pounds) in 4 months and I'd be enrolled on the program. I lost 24kg (52 pounds) and was told great now keep losing!! WHAT????? I'm disheartened, depressed and have put back on 8kg (17 pounds).
  6. Wow! You're doing so well!!! So proud of you, and what a transformation!!
