Yeah. Morningstar products were tough in the beginning. Go with Dr. Praguers. They are mushier and easier to digest. I went back to morningstar at about 3 months and eat them super slow! Also add something wet or saucy. It helps. I take a sausage patty and lay a fried egg on top using the yolk like a sauce.

Elyquint... I am loving your ideas! I ate a morning star black bean burger (could only eat half) and it was painful. Not ready for that either... nearly 2 weeks post op.

It gets better. Last night I put guacamole and melted cheddar on top of half a morningstar griller and put it in ranch dressing. No negative effects. Also makes a good lettuce roll up.
