Thats wonderful!! Congrats! Whats your goal cuz u look great now

Congrats on your successful journey thus far! Keep up the great work :D

I'd be OK with weighing around 150-155lbs because that's within the healthy BMI range for my height. But I'm shifting focus away from the scale (trying to limit myself to one weigh in a week) and on to building lean muscle and toning up. I work out 5-6 days out of the week and weight train at least 3 of those days. Got to get rid of some of this arm and tummy flab for summer!

I too work out 5-6 days a week. Shooting for 170 myself. Unfortunately at my age and for carrying so long i will have to have all mine excess removed surgically. I wish i could look like you when i hit goal naturally but isnt gonna happen for me. I only weigh in once a week on thursday. I do strength training and cardio everyday but heavy strength 3 days out of the 5. Keep up the work and congrats again.

Just love seeing after pics from my fellow successful sleevers... So post em if ya got em

Six months after 10-14-13, I am at GOAL! I really didn't believe it would happen, and I would've been happy to be within 10 lbs of my original goal... but I made it! I debated even getting the sleeve at my age (60) and weight (60 lbs to lose), admonishing myself that I *should* be able to do it on my own! Now I am Sooooo Glad I made that trip to Mexico!

I feel GREAT, and I look forward to healthy years ahead, which is why I did this. It's an extra Plus to look better, too!!! I post this pic just as an encouragement for anyone considering the sleeve, whatever your age. If you're 50 lbs or more overweight, it's worth it, even if insurance won't cover the cost.

p.s. The other day, my 9-year-old grandson described someone to his mom as "tall & thin like Grammy" ~ which made me realize my grandkids will never remember me any other way!!! That made me smile all week long! :-)

You look great! Congrats on making goal.

This is the post I look at when I ask myself if I'm crazy to be having this surgery. Thank you all for sharing your photos and stories with us!

I did the same thing. Every time I got scared or someone asked if I was crazy, I'd come here and see everyone's success stories! This site is full of great information before and after surgery.

Wao i love this thread... Just another confirmation that i will succeed! Currently on my pre op diet... Surgery date may 28 current weight 236. My goal is to lose 50 lbs for my 5yr wedding aniversary in october. I have faith in God it will happen. I will also put up my before and after pic then :). Feeling exited!
