Depressed after losing weight?

Has anyone else gotten terribly depressed after losing weight? I'm so upset that I'm not a BBW anymore. I feel terrible. Almost suicidal. I feel guilty everytime I go on the scale and see weightloss. I hate it. I don't want to lose anymore! I'm so ugly. I can't keep a pair of pants long enough. I'm happy that my acid reflux is gone, but I hate all this! I don't want to be sad.

Jouselle, you are not betraying them! They can join you if they wish. Life is about change. Seems like every decade of my life has been about change. This is about your health. We all have skinny friends and overweight friends. They will still love YOU. Tour weight does not define you. Your heart defines YOU. Hugs this morning.

I think you should turn this around right now. You are helping them by showing them that there is hope! You are setting a good example. It's really common for people in a family of obese people to start a waterfall of weight loss surgery. You are just the first one.

An update to this. My hubby took me to Fredericks of Hollywood to try some things on. It made me feel a little better, because I didn't look too bad. Psychiatrist's being a little troublesome, but I'm making calls.

Didn't buy anything, my sizes are changing too fast, but it was nice to see me look good in something.

Shopping with my mother today made things worse. First she made me put on a bunch of too tight things, saying they'd fit me later. Then she and my sister scoped out the women's clearance racks. I felt left out.

Jouselle, at least you are getting out and doing something. Good for you! Your mom and sister probably did not mean for you to feel left out. Maybe go with your hubby if that makes you feel good. This is about you girl! I know it is trouble getting through to the psychiatric offices, but do not let anything keep you from getting through. God Bless.
