I was just wondering the same thing today. I'm gonna call my nutritionist tomorrow. I've been craving apple slices with peanut butter!

Has anyone else's weight fluctuated? I can lose a lb a day for several days and then for a day or two it shows me to have gained a lb or two. I don't understand it... But those gained days are VERY frustrating!

I am 2 days away from surgery and am so miserable right now on my pre-op diet. I am only allowed up to 4 Protein Shakes per day and everything else is sugar free low sodium Clear Liquids. I have a horrible headache that won't go away, awful stomach pain and feel light headed, dizzy and tired. I am just trying to make it two more days! I'm more worried about my actual surgery day now. I can't have ANYTHING after midnight tomorrow night (Wednesday) but my actual procedure is not until Thursday at 2pm. I'm afraid I will be dying of thirst and unable to even have a sip of Water. :( Anyone else have a late surgery time and go most of the day without even water?

My soft diet paperwork says creamy Peanut Butter is allowed. It also says I can start ground meats or thin deli meats so I tried to eat a couple slices of shaved turkey... Not even 5 mins later I threw up and now my stomach is killing me! So ..... I can't do that just yet.

My surgery was scheduled at 9 but ended up not happening until almost noon. I just kept busy talk to ppl in the waiting room to keep my mind off of it. You won't be miserable because nerves will take over and u won't think about it. Good luck!!!

Ok good to know!! Thanks!! That sucks that it didn't agree with you. I had a little turkey the other day and it didn't bother me thankfully.

I would definitely think that's way too soon to go back to work. I wouldn't have gone back after only 4 days. My Dr gave me 3 weeks off

I personally couldn't have done it. I know a lot of the people who had the sleeve around the same time as me said the first 3-5 days were rough. But everyone is different.

I'm just now having enough energy to stay awake most of the day. And most days I still take a nap. I'm going back to work on Friday. I'm two weeks post op.

Also I had significant pain... Not unbearable but too much for even a desk job the whole first week. I took my pain killers before it was time cuz I hurt. I quit taking them this last weekend.

I had surgery last Tuesday and went back to work today. Also a desk job. It was fine but about 4 I started getting tired and bloated. But today was also my first day off clear liquids and onto puréed so that change may have contributed I was able to leave a little early. Didn't want to over do it

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
