we are only allowed to eat 1/2 cup of non-starchy veggies a day along with the 4 bariatric shakes. Your surgeon is allowing you to eat? I'm on day 7 of the diet.

All I got was shakes for two weeks. They did allow four "meal tickets", but I only used one and it was disappointing.

Well I guess I shouldn't be complaining then. Just so very diff from what I was doing. My stomach is saying its hungry but my brain is telling it it can't have anything and I want to cry. Lol I know it'll be easier when my stomach is 4 oz big... I won't have to deal with hunger pains.

I know... my stomach has been grumbling for the last hour. I already ate my veggies early today. I am feeling too fatigued to even get up and get food if I could.

I keep trying to just look at one day at a time instead of me having 10 days left. : ( I have to keep my mind busy or I'm miserable. I was home sick today so it hasn't been easy. If I could just sleep for the next 10 days that'd be great lol. I'm from tx. Using a surgeon out of Dallas. U?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
