Started mine today too surgery nxt Monday this has to be one of the hardest seasons to do this but we will make it. I'm just grateful for the surgery!

lucky they gave you one week i got 2 is so hard

I started mines today by choice. My surgery is 1-8-2014 but I wanted a head start so my body could adjust to the change. It's been tough but I try to keep myself busy and focus on why I am doing this. The more you think about it the worst it will be for you. I am the one who cooks for my family, so those are the most challenging times but I motivate myself into not caving. You can do it, it's will power!

I start my three week liquid diet on New Year's Eve day. I'm already feeling sad. Like I'm mourning food. I know we will all get through it. It definitely helps to know we are not alone. My surgery is jan 21/14 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. See you all on the losers bench!

They gave you 3weeks its hard now but we get pay back being healthy.

I have two week diet starting December 30. My surgery date is January 13! I'm so excited! Congrats to everyone!! We can do this! New year new us!!

mines is 1-7-13 your def not alone.

I wish they would move my surgery date up. It seems like my time is going so slow. Oh and my surgery is at Carle hospital urbana illinois.. Good luck everyone!

Just a tip...first 2 or 3 days will be the toughest to get thru, also a cup of chicken broth will help with headaches....good luck to you all and a very Happy New Year!

On Day 15 of a 4 week liquid pre-op diet. Lost 11.7 pounds got 12 more to go. I have cheated but planned to because of the holidays. I didn't go and binge, but had a small portion, mainly protein. My gain was water which disappeared by morning thanks to blood pressure meds, gotta live those diuretics. The scale is still going down in the right direction. My surgery is Jan 9 th in Gävle, Sweden.

Right I'm complaining about being on day 4 of a 7 day diet. I hope your cold goes away too. I'm only one day ahead of you and trying my best to stay out of the cold and avoid crowded public germy places. I don't want anything to delay this surgery. I don't think I could do a liquid diet again with this stomach.

Thank you so much Hahah i had drink so many dayquill pills and night quills my diet was supposed to be 14 days but got a call changing my surgery date
