Im nervous & excited too. The hospital should have toiletries and towels. I'm packing light. Mainly gonna bring something for entertainment (kindle fire) and change of clothes, and Chapstick.

Haven't packed yet, but not taking much since it's only a 23 hour stay at the hospital. I have to be there at 6:00 am. and we live 1.5 hours away, so I'll be getting up at 3:45 a.m. to get ready to go. Hey at least I'll get some sleep during surgery!!

Good luck to all of us!!

Mine will bea 2 night stay possible 3 night if I can't get liquids in. So I'm going to pack

Robe

Pjs

Slipper socks

Chap stick

Brush

sleep mask

My ipad

Chargers

Tooth brush

Undies

And a mirror so I can put my piercings back in

Maybe a book.

Im in sooo much pain! Gas pain!!!!

Feeling a little better, they put me on toradol.

Got home this afternoon...OMG that leak test upper G.I. is awful...tasted like drinking old soapy mop Water with Pine Sol mixed in...yuck.

I had the gas pains in my shoulder blade after surgery too, but after about 4 trips walking up and down the halls it all went away. I think that's the key to getting rid of it.

My body aches all over though and I feel like they must have dropped me on my tailbone because my butt hurts a lot.

I'm trying to sip water and some Protein shake, but everything tastes really nasty.

I hope everyone else is home today and doing well.

Hope everyone is doing well!!! I came home today. Passed UGI and taking liquids. small amount of pain and no nausea! YAY! Overall had a really great hospital experience! Grateful for the support of my family and friends!!
