Any late december bandstas?

Finally got my surgery date last week. Dec. 20 5:30am. They said I didn't have to do a diet until dec 19. So I've been eating light. I'm at 272lbs 5'7" bmi 42. My surgeon and dr say I'm going to be a success. Feeling more and ore nervous as the days approach.

Every time I write today's date at work, I feel more and more nervous. Liquid diet all day:(

I had my Lap Band surgery on the morning of December 20th. I'm doing well thus far. I'm looking forward to a great year, and a new life!

Mine was done early dec 20 as well. My surgeon ran into problems tho. He said my anatomy was different than most others. He said I had a large vein that came up to my liver and he had to dissect it. So I lost a lot of blood and his assistant fainted. Lol well, I didn't need a blood transfusion but I got to stay 2 nights in the hospital. I feel a lot better now but breathing was my biggest challenge.

Tomorrow will be 2 week's post-op. I've done well post-op, with no real issues. The toughest part has been the monotony of the liquid diet. I've managed to exercise almost daily on my recumbent exercise bike, and have lost 21lbs as of 3 days ago. I'm scheduled for my first adjustment on 2/17. Can anyone tell me what to expect? Thanks

My two weeks post op is today. I've lost 30 lbs. exactly and not much exercise. I have been drinking my protein shakes to prevent muscle loss. Dr said I can eat puréed food after one week post op. My first fill will be on 1/22. Good luck on your fill. Let us know what it's like. I'm envoys about mine
