Insulin resistance and food and exercise

Im 5 month post op on only Metformin 2x a day versus metformin, NPH and actos for my sugar levels...my levels are so much better...now

How are you doing with your carb intake...are you doing zero carb or sticking to a particular number of carbs per day?

I try to get 100 grams of Protein a day and 100 carbs a day...its a challenge...

What is working for you right now...

I am (luckily) not diabetic and my serum glucose and AC1 levels are OK.

That said, I have trouble with carbs and restrict them as much as I can. I avoid (like the plague) sugars and refined carbs...
