Anyone Else Still Feel Like Their Lapbands Are Still There?

I had my band for 3 1/2 yrs before my sleeve revision 5 mths ago. While I rarely vomit anymore (vs almost daily), sometimes I could swear its still in there. Sometimes food still feels stuck. I know there's no structure getting in the way but it sure feels like it. And my port area is sore occasionally, like after getting a fill.

Anyone else?

Anyone else?

At the 5 month mark I still had the same sensations. It slowly resolved. I think that revisions are at higher risk for strictures. Mine finally has resolved, I have less than 6-8 times had stuck feeling and slimed and vomited. That is rare now at 15 mos out. It will go away !

NO

I had my band out in late Sept 2011 after basically 10 years of hell. It was immediate relief but WOW was I hungry. I didn't realize that the band gave me at last some respite from the overwhelming drive to eat even though i had zero fill.

I was sleeved in Dec 2011 and while i did go through some tough times, overall, I have felt like I finally have a tummy that matches my metabolism. This morning I weighed 148.2# and I feel like my "sleeved appetite" suits me weighing a normal body weight and i never had that experience with the band.
