My Sleeve Surgery Is Scheduled For March 4, 2014

I'm scheduled for my sleeve on March 4, 2014. Can't wait but am also having some anxiety, especially after being laid off yesterday. I guess I should just consider it a blessing to have a longer recovery time instead of only a week.

congratulations on your surgery date but sorry to hear about your layoff. Hope losing your job doesn't have any affect on your surgery. Good luck.

Isn't it wonderful u have a date so soon ...congrats...

Being laid off won't have any impact on my surgery. My insurance is through my husband so I am lucky there. My last words to my boss were, "if you do call me back, make sure it's after March so it won't interfere with my surgery". LOL

March 4th seemed so far away when I first spoke to my surgeon in September. I honestly can't believe how fast time is going. On my third visit with nutritionist and 3 more to go. Time is flying by!

I agree. What once seemed too far away now seems a lot closer. At first I was disgusted with the long weight but I now realize that is a very important part of the process and gives us a lot of time for reflection and planning not to mention research and using these boards. lol Good luck to you and enjoy your time off work.

Congrats on ur upcoming surgery! Very sorry about ur job lost. Always remember when one door closes another always opens. Hang in there stay positive. I'm just so happy ur insurance is through ur hubby otherwise that could have been a REAL bummer.
