Sleeved 11/19.. Have only lost 21 pounds total since 11/9 with my pre op diet. Lost it all in two weeks because I haven't lost anything in the last 13 days. Called my doc and he set me up with my nutritionist next week. So frustrating to work out .. Drink fluids like crazy .. Eat 500 cal a day and lose nothing . It's heartbreaking . Hope this stall ends soon.

Teresa RN. No worries. The stall will end. And the scale will start to move. You are doing everything right. Take a deep breath, keep up the good work, and the scale will be moving before you know it.

Sleeved on 11/5/13. 6 weeks post up. I have lost 33 pounds since preop prep. I still can not get in 64 oz liquids, and I am having a heck of a time getting in the Protein. My doctor says it is a must on both. My question is by not getting enough protein and liquids in every day is this causing a stall in my weight loss. HW - 296

Day of sugery 280

Current weight 262.

Any suggestions?

I dont consider myself in a stall. I lost 25lbs in 3 weeks. I have since lost 5 lbs since surgery on Nov 19th. Our bodies are in starvation mode, they think its dying. Until ur body realizes in fact its not dying, the weight drop. Plus, 30lbs is alot to lose in 1 month. It has to even out somehow. We must be patient, after all, we didnt get fat over night, we wont get skinny over night either. Just my thoughts....

Tomorrow I will be 6 weeks post op. I am down 26 pounds, 36 since 2 week pre op. I hit a stall at 1 week and it lasted 3 weeks. Overall I am still doing good! I am still very happy about my decision to get sleeved! I even forget sometimes that I had surgery 6 weeks ago. Just remember stalls will come and go!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
