  4. I am 10 weeks out and I can't burp anymore. I try but I just can't. I feel air in my tummy, and it open my mouth you can hear all kinds of strange noises.
  5. My Dr. Didn't give me a goal weight either. I had surgery 11/5/13 and I have lost 46 ponds. I don't feel like that is enough.i don't know how to figure it out either , I know there are sites out there.

  7. I never saw a NUT either, I am cash pay also, so I think they do things differently for us. I would love to see a NUT. The doctor never mentioned a goal weight, and told me not to worry about exersice yet. I am 9 weeks out, and since 2 weeks out I felt great . I never felt like I had surgery other than the scars on my stomach.
  8. I hav problem with liquids and vitamins also. One day I can drink crystal light tea and the next day I can't stand it. I have so many different drink mixes that I like for a day and then I can't stand. I still don't take my vitamins everyday.
  9. For me it was the drain tube. I could not stand up straight . I was short of breathe. I could not get out of bed without help. After they removed the tube I felt 100% better. I was only in the hospital for a day. I slept pretty much all day for the first 3 days. I am very sensitive to anesthesia . Drinking and eating was also difficult, I felt so good after a week I forgot I had even had surgery. Good luck , and remember we all experience different things, you will do great, go in with a positive mind, knowing that when you wake up it's your second birthday to a new life, a healthier life.
  10. I also weigh myself every morning. But by reading the previous posts it is not a good idea to do that. With me if I see an increase in weight I will really watch what I eat. This is a bad habit of mine. Trying hard to stop. I am also very salt sensitive. Also I am so confused it hear a lot of you talk about a nutritionist , but have never seen one. I just wing it. Any suggestions would help me. Starting weight before surgery 296. Current. Weight 252. Surgery 11/5/13. 8 weeks out.

  12. Sleeved on 11/5/13. 6 weeks post up. I have lost 33 pounds since preop prep. I still can not get in 64 oz liquids, and I am having a heck of a time getting in the protein. My doctor says it is a must on both. My question is by not getting enough protein and liquids in every day is this causing a stall in my weight loss. HW - 296 Day of sugery 280 Current weight 262. Any suggestions?
