Hey guys, I am finally home, Gas pain was horrible, and the pain meds knock me out last night was miserable. I walked as often as I could when I was awake.

Happy u made it home. I'm not tolerating liquids without getting super nauseous. I'm hoping I get to be released tomorrow.

To hang in there and take it slow. They've given me everything available for nausea. Ugh

So sorry to hear that! I am sending good vibes your way April!

You'll get there Superfab. Are they giving you any fluids to avoid dehydration? Have you tried the room temp water? Good luck!

Just an update on me. Got almost all my protein in today. Also I have been walking about 1.5-2 miles a day the last four days. I'm down 14 pounds and feeling much better everyday. My blood sugars are amazing and I have lowered my hourly dose on my pump again (with doctors direction). The sleeve is saving my life!

April so sorry to hear you're not doing so "fab"...I really hope you rest up tonight and wake up 1000% better tomorrow. This is just a little hump to get over. You can do this!!!!

That sucks! It will get better I promise! Day 2 was rough for me as well. Just rest try hot tea if possible that helped me.

SuperFab,

My first two days home I struggled with nausea (even with a zofran script). The thing that helped most was warm water with peppermint extract.

I really hope you're feeling better soon.
