Any February 2014 Sleevers?

I'm scheduled for 2/6/14. Who else is getting sleeved in February?

Yeah. He'd freak out if I did that to him. I blame it on his age. At 22 he's still so self-absorbed. Lol

Aw, he's a wittle baby!

Feb 28th in Phoenix, AZ. Sooooo excited!

Surgery yesturday went well. Managing the pain passed all the post-op test and now on day two diet. On track to go home tomorrow. What do most post-op people do for constipation?

Glad you're doing well. From what I've read, miralax and stool softeners. A lot of people recommend SMOOTH MOVE tea. And when it's at its worst, milk of magnesia. The first 3 are usually approved for continued, long term usage.

Well all I think this is for real. Saw the surgeon for the consult today & I'm scheduled for 2/26/14. No pre-op testing or procedures need to be done. He is accepting all of that from 2 years ago. I'm going to be self-pay & get a discount for being a hospital employee. Start my pre-op diet tomorrow. YEAH! This is really really happening. I can't believe it.

I'm hours away from surgery! Getting so scared!

So my pre-op diet is two protein shakes a day (breakfast & lunch) then a sensible dinner. Protein & veggies. For now I have a chocolate protein powder my husband picked up @ GNC. It is on the list I got from the dr. For me this has happened so fast. I really enjoy chicken. So I will probably do chicken & steamed veggie or salad.

I really want some ice cream but I think I'm feeling so much right now I can't eat. Lol

????good luck to everyone about to be sleeved‼️

Congrats to all those in the first couple of days of recovery????????????????????

SarahJane and Jencovi, thanks for some of the best laughs I've had in ages. Go Xanax! I actually had some expired leftovers from a long time ago. I planned to take one the night before surgery but was afraid I'd oversleep (even though the potency would be reduced). I really wanted it once I got to the hospital but my amazingly calm husband calmed my nerves.

Hubs got you through! That's awesome. My poor husband has never been with me when I have had surgery before (except the birth of our daughter which was a planned c-section). We were engaged when I had my band done but he was deployed and we were married and just had our daughter when it was removed but he was away with the navy. He's a wreck. He told me on Thursday morning he will want my Xanax. Haha. But I know he will be strong and silent in front of me, them freak out with my mom. Lol.
