My husband can't stop shopping online for me. I have no idea why but clothes keep appearing at the house. So he bought me two tiny looking size 14 dresses. I wanted to let him see how they were still waaaay too small for me. I love dresses but they didn't look good with the excess weight so I was very nervous. But they fit! And even though I say it myself' date=' dang I look good in them! I have to admit, I didn't recognize myself in them. I didn't realize I am "small" enough to fit into them. I used to read about others who said they didn't realize they were in a smaller size and it made no sense to me. Today I understood that. I'm exactly three months out today (sx aug 2nd), 39 lbs down and in another pound I'll be half-way to goal. I've gone from an 18w or 20 to a misses 14. For those of you who stress about stalls(I.e., me too)? Just know that in 3 months I've had 3 stalls that lasted 12 days, 12 days, and 15 days respectively. So out of 90 days, I spent 39 days stalled. And still got these results overall. So grateful for the sleeve today. I have a thankful heart. Thanks for listening to me dance about with happiness :) [/quote']

What a great feeling! Soon the 14's will be too big! Enjoy your success!

NSV = Non scale Victory.

GG - pictures or it didn't happen! ;-)

TY! I've already a NSV or two of my own. Back in jeans from 4 years ago...goal is a size 10/12...whatever weight and time gets me there. But in another 17 pounds, I'll weigh less than I did when I discharged from the Navy in 1996! :D

GG, Woo hoo! I'm just 4 days behind you and totally get how thrilled you are! Now, my hubbie doesn't buy me cloths, but I've cleaned out everything and am replacing with 14s, 11s and even some 10s. Never in my life did I expect to feel so damn good!

Good for you! And thanks for all the great posts over the last few months. I still can't believe you drove all the way home!

Hah! I can't believe you remember that still!

Wow, 10s and 11s? I have a hard time believing I'll ever get there. :)

      I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

        So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

      I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

        That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

        I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

        Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
