Tomorrows a milestone birthday for me but can't Celebrate like I typically would because im still recovering from surgery and am on the gross Protein shake/soup phase and I think I'll have a meltdown if I go out and see people eating yummy food. Also my incisions are still sore so have been wearing baggy clothes and working from home.

I'm grateful to have had he surgery and hopefully next year i will be at the lowest weight ever and can have a birthday blowout in a sexy dress and heels. Le sigh!

My birthday was yesterday, the big 30. I prepped all week so I could go out and splurge. When it came down to it. I didn't. The worst I did was spilt a cupcake 3 ways and had 2 bites. I haven't worked this hard to throw away to food.

Food will no longer be the celebration. I didn't care where we went or what we did. I was just excited to be with my husband and kids. To be blessed enough to live another year. This surgery gave me my life back, to me, that is the sweetest taste of all.
