So i have pretty much narrowed my choice down to Dr. illan fraijo and dr. garcia. I have read good things about both. Any suggestions??

Dr. Illan I was sleeved 8.31.13 and couldn't be happier. My surgery was flawless and recovery was a breeze b/c I didn't really have any recovery. Day 2 from surgery no pain or tenderness. No hunger! love that part Been running since day out of hospital and haven't stopped. 1 week back to work (desk job). Every one one of his patients that I have spoken to have all had great surgeries and recovery. I talked to them by FB and by phone. I would go back to him over and over again.

I'll second Dr. Illan. I posted my entire experience here on VST if you want to check it out but overall, I absolutely wouldn't change a thing about my surgery. He is amazing. Good luck with your choice! I would recommend Dr. Illan to anybody.

I would have to recommend Dr. Illan as well. My experience is also posted on these forums if you want to check it out. My experience was great. I don't know if Dr. Garcia has an on site co-ordinator, but Dr. Illan has Omar. He is great. Omar makes sure you are comfortable throughout your TJ experience. He also will take you out for the best broth ever and pick up some gatoraid and water for you to enjoy at the hotel.
