Ok, ok how many weeks before soft food? Confused!

My doc first said 2 days liquid, 3 weeks full liquid and 3 weeks puréed, then start soft foods. Now she said they changed it to 2 days liquid, 2 weeks full liquid , 2 weeks puréed and then soft. What was your regimen per docs orders?

I was on liquids in hospital. Full liquids when I came home for 8 days. Then, went to soft per my doctor at visit. On soft now.

OK you have learned that our Programs are very, very different. I suggest that you (we) follow our program precisely. The big challenge is our fat brain and now is not the time to be creative... That comes later. Me? I was on puréed as soon as I left the hospital. Go figure.

I was on clear liquids for the first 24 hours. Then my doctor's program calls for four weeks of full liquids, four weeks of purees, and four months of soft foods. But the dietician bumped me up to purees and soft foods a week early each time because I was doing very well, no issues or complications. I'm still on soft foods for the next two months.

I want to do the liquids. I'm cool with them for now...however my dramatic mind makes me think I'm gonna reject anything nit on the plan and become violently ill. Lol. But with all of these differences I see a tiny bit of room for error. But I'm sticking to their rules....and being a good little kitty.

Lol...thanks...I'm sticking to their plan. Just wishing they email me the updated literature. I like to schedule things and I'd love to mark my calendar for the exact date soft can begin :)
