Any Port Huron Lap Banders on here??? We've started the process and have our meeting with Dr. Bhesania on the 15th of March. Both hubby and I are looking to have the surgery done..

Hi there, Baycity!

I'm here on this site every day though not always on this thread. I've lost 63# so far and am at a plateau now. I'm so thrilled with what I've accomplished so far, but sure wish I could get the scale to start moving again. I broke the final pounds into 10# increments and that's my ticker on the bottom here. S l o w l y, it's coming off, but certainly not like a year ago.

Hope things go well with you. I love my Port Huron doctor and staff!!

Hello..I am getting banded tommorow (the 24th of june) at port huron hospital..so I guess I am kind of around ;P

Good luck tomorrow BumbleBree! (your name is cute ) I wish you all the best as you start your new life as a bandster. It sounds like you're in excellent care there at Port Huron hospital . . . please keep in touch and let us know how you do, ok? :grouphug:

Get Miralax... works terrific. I take it just about every day.

I'm a Port Huron Lapbander. I had surgery on August 3rd by Dr. Boutt! *yummy* and I love the lapband center and him. I've lost 42 pounds so far and things are going great. I am a state employee with BCBS PPO also. My insurance covered me with no issues. I did have the letter from my doctor with the 12 months of weight loss attempt history. If you need any info or advise feel free to msg me or put it on here. I love Port Huron! I live outside Lansing but it's worth the drive!

have you lost all your weight yet i was banded in ph also but the weight wont come off yet.

Hello, its been a few years since anyone has spoken on here and I was considering the lap band surgery. I would like to see where everyone is at on this forum now and what you have to say about the PH weight loss surgery team and where your progress is today. Thanks.
