Don't worry about TMI....we are all in the same boat here and know exactly what you mean! ;)~ There are so many things I am looking forward to post-op, but being HEALTHY is #1 for me! No more blood pressure and cholesterol meds, no more shortness of breath, no more couch potato, no more sit longer than I stand a day......this chick is MOVING!

I'm 14 Oct, on the other side of the world to most of you but will def be checking in to share, support and get inspiration from all other October buddies here.

Agreed! Never TMI. I'm just as excited for my husband as I am for me ;)

I am right there with you Bigjimskiki, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired!

Where are you from Skin?

I need to share my frustration today!!!

When I get my surgery, I am not only getting the bypass, but they are also going to remove my ovaries. So- trying to coordinate with the bariatric surgeon and the OBGYN surgeon.

My OBGYN surgeon just called me and said the ONLY day she is available in October is the 21st. I called my bariatric surgeon, and he refuses to schedule me until I have my next appointment on Sept 13th. Im freaking out- if we wait too long to get it scheduled, who knows when they can coordinate another day.

Im just irritated they wont just schedule it. :| GRrrrrrrr

Hey ladies!!! Just found out yesterday I'm having surgery on Oct 16th!!! Lots of emotions right now lol!! And lace not tmi!!! I'm right there with ya. Think I've had sex twice this YEAR!!! Ugh and I'm only 33!! So excited to be healthy but also excited for all the little things!! :)

Just heard today that October 2nd is my day to join the losers bench. Will be a slight delay from the original August date (was supposed to be yesterday -I also learned today) due to insurance issues caused by my husband's lay off. My surgeon is on vacation in late September, so I hope he'll be well rested and ready because I know I will be!

Congrats Molly! You might be the first one in our little group. You can help coach us all through what to expect ;)

Yes you can lol I am going in on the 7 of Oct..

That's one thing I don't like is the holidays coming up!

Usually I'm the chef for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This year I think I'll have the grocery store catering do the feast at least for Thanksgiving. Of course, I might change my mind as the date approaches. My favorite part of making meals is seeing my family and friends enjoy them.
