I went to consent signing on Wednesday, and they told us post op we have 3 weeks on liquids. Im wondering what the time frame was for others?

I was clear liquids until discharged fro the hospital then full liquids for 1 week, then puree for 1 week

I was on clear until my first checkup, 11 days, them they said 1 week full and then 2 weeks puréed

I was on full liquids for one day after surgery, then it will be full liquids until 2 week post op appt, then purées and normal diet after week 6. I was on liquid diet for 2 weeks before surgery and had bowel prep day before.

I was on clear liquids 1/2 day b4 surgery and all day the after surgery. The 2nd day in hospital I was put on full-liquids which I was on for 4 weeks.

I was on liquids 2wks prior surgery. 2nd day in hospital I was given reg food and been eating regular food since!

Seriously? Like salad, chicken, crackers type of things? Jealous! I sooooo much want to get tomatoes/cucumber/onion salad with salt and pepper..

Yes! I ate eggs and turkey in the hospital. Didn't eat a salad til I was 4wks out. Every Dr is different!

Pre op I was on 12 days of liquids. Phase one after surgery is 2 weeks of liquids, phase two is 3 weeks of purée, phase three is soft foods for 3 weeks and regular food at week 9.
