In Tuesday Out Saturday

did you have problems with the surgery?

did you have problems with the surgery?

Doc said the surgery was long, when I woke up I was in soon much pain. I was a revision from lapband to RNY. They were giving my pain meds in the IV but still the pain was horrible. Doc said it went great, my test results were great but he said u really look bad and I felt horrible. I think my first walk was day 2 and that was getting up and going to the restroom and i felt like i ran a race. Day 3 i walked the hall but could not do the lap. He made me stay so they could watch me.

First surgery Monday morning, left LATE on Thursday night....held me hostage a day and a half because I wouldn't fart....whatever you do, FART!!!!!!!!!!

they make you fart while their in the room?!?! I can't fart when people I don't know that well are around...now if you put my bf's face close to my arse, I could blow him/them away.

I didn't have to fart 'for' them, sorry :D but they ask and I wasn't doing jack so I told em the truth...for better or for worse....it always takes my gut a couple days to wake up...I know this, he knows this, yet I ended up with 2 suppositories and 2 enemas (WHICH DID NOTHING!!!) and an extra nights stay, only to wake up the next day with gas....just like I'd freaking told him. I was tempted to chase down my doc and beat him with an enema. It got ugly...god bless the nurse that had to do em.

I went in Thursday morning, out Friday night. I didn't start with the gas till the Saturday. Farting was not a condition of my release. Peeing WAS. :-)

This cracked me up! But they didn't even ask me if I'd farted. I hadn't when I left hospital. They did require that I pee before I left though.

I went in on Wednesday (1 PM surgery), discharged Friday morning.

Got in THURS before 6am and was discharged FRI late afternoon. I wouldn't let them kick me out any sooner then end of day. Not on my dime!
