They're having "food night" tonight at work. I ate a few crackers with cheese and pepperoni and some ham but no bread.

But there's a cake. And a giant chocolate chip cookie. And banana pudding. And they're making me sad.

This is the first time I've wanted to cheat. Ugh.

Ughhh ... We had goodies at work the other night- i still dont know how to resist, but i am preop- what happens when i am postop...

When you are post op those goodies will make you very very sick. Also your appetite is going to be radically altered and you might not even be tempted! You'll be fine!

If I need something sweet I go for no sugar added fudgesicles and sugar free hot chocolate. I was a chocoholic n efore surgery a d now I really could care less if I eat at all sometimes.

I just recieved a bill from the hospital. My surgery cost 49 thousand dollars. Thank God for insurance. Such a blessing and a great investment towards my health!

I got a bill today as well and so far my portion is $200, I'm not sure what the bill was, I'm curious.

I sure am trying but I really only like cold Water and with this heat it gets warm so quick. I had a frozen bottle of water this afternoon and took it shopping. By the time I got to my first destination' date=' maybe 20 miles away, it was warm. Had to go to the store and buy another one.[/quote']

I went to Walmart and bought like a big water jug.

I freeze water bottle the night before i know i have to run errands and put them in a lunch box with Protein Bars or cheese.< /p>

I think in getting better with my willpower. I have an enormous sweet tooth I literally could have lived off of birthday cake before surgery. But today I was walking around the store and saw the Voortmans sugar free Cookies. A whole rack of them. They were calling to me. I checked out the nutritional info and picked up the oatmeal cookies. I took two steps away from the rack and turned around and put them right back. I knew if I got them it would only lead to bad things. Same thing happen when I found hummus chips. They aren't as bad as the cookies and they actually have some Protein but I CANNOT have them. I am an addict but my willpower is stronger.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
