Hi everyone! I'm scheduled for June 17th. This two week liquid diet is going to be the death of me! Ugh haha. So i chewed up a hot dog and spit it in the trash.....i know gross! Do you think this caused a huge set back?

no....at least you didn't swallow it. I've actually done that in the past just to taste it. I felt very pathetic afterward. Don't sweat it....try to focus more on your goal and drink plenty. I would also suggest doing things that distract you from feeling like your hungry....do you nails, hair, read, watch movies, etc.

Wow I think I was lucky - I only had a liquid diet for 24 hours! Hang in there....

I am going on my second week and the Protein Shakes are getting tiresome. I can't wait until next Tuesday for surgery. At least after surgery we can have a little bit of real food. We will never be back to the food we were loving but at least real food!!!! Good luck.

You've got this! I just finished 2 weeks.... just drink a shake every time you're hungry... when you're full you should be fine... I only thought about cheating when I got extremely hungry. But in reality everytime I drank a shake I was satisfied. The 2 weeks flew by faster rhan I thought

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
