Any aussie rny people out there..

Rny is not popular yet in Australia. I often read on the American sites about how much hoo haa you all have to go through with your insurance..we are lucky here I guess. If the doc says that you need it done that's the end of the story. I think that if I wasn't for my band giving me terrible reflux that they would make me have the sleeve instead.

I don't know anyone who has bypass. Tho know heaps of people that have the band or sleeve.

It was hard to find a surgeon that does rny in Australia. In fact my surgeon practiced in the USA. In on Monday for my surgery....so scared.

I've had a few of those moments saying why did I do this? Each day getting better, scratchy throat from NG tube, just ate pumpkin soup, didn't tolerate that too well. My husband is cooking sausages, I feel like throwing up from the smell! All good, we will get there one day at a time.
