  1. I've had a few of those moments saying why did I do this? Each day getting better, scratchy throat from NG tube, just ate pumpkin soup, didn't tolerate that too well. My husband is cooking sausages, I feel like throwing up from the smell! All good, we will get there one day at a time.
  2.    Loco_Fairy reacted to a post in a topic: May surgeries!
  3. I'm located in Victoria, having my GBS tomorrow, May 14th. So nervous, but excited to get things started.
  4. This is it! One more day, I can't wait until tomorrow! Optifast went good, lost 18 lbs in 2 weeks! I was around food all weekend with Mother's Day and 2 birthdays! Very proud to avoid all the tempting food. Must keep busy today so time passes quickly.
  5. Started mine 4 days ago, headache the first day, but after that pretty good, trying to keep busy really helps and drinking lots of water! I will stick to this 100%
  6. Surgery date, May 14th! Started liquid diet, day 4 today, going ok, losing weight already, keeping busy helps, trying to get things organized and make some soups and freeze for later on. Excited, but scared too.
  7. Surgery in 2 weeks, start liquid diet tomorrow, getting excited and nervous!
