Little weight loss

I had RNY last May. It's been 11 months and I'm only down 56 lbs. my surgeon wants to go back in to go deeper with the bypass. Scared, nervous and depressed!!:-(

Thanks Cherry!!!

I'm sorry you may need another surgery. But I want to thank you for bringing this to my attention. I thought I had asked EVERY question possible and learned everything (biologically), until your post. So now I have learned something new!
Seeing the surgeon next Tuesday to set up surgery date

So they are going to go in and redo the RNY?

I wish(not being funny) I can redo the surgery & stay eating like a bird :)

Sorry John you gotta do it all over but should be a charm this time around.

I actually would like to get my stomach smaller or more restricted too! I wonder what are the rules / limitations around this? I'm going to ask my doctor about this as well. I honestly thought I would lose so much I would be 130 pounds. I stalled out at 182. I think you are so lucky your doctor is going to revise you :)
