2nd day into liquid diet and I cheated!

I feel horrible! I was fixing my son a bologna sandwich and of all things, set me off! I couldn't stop myself!! I had scarfed it down before I had a chance to stop myself! I feel so bad. If I can't do 2 days on a liquid diet, what makes me think I can do this? Then I have to stop myself. Everybody slips up. It's not the end of the world right????

Don't beat yourself up... Today is a new day

We are all human and slip up so don't let it ruin your day !!! After surgery you will NOT want to eat and even the thought of food makes you full. Its totally different after surgery. A few teaspoons of liquid or something will fill you up so you don't have to worry about will power your pouch does it for you. After surgery you will not be able to inhale food like you use to because you will either get VERY sick, or be in alot of pain!!! This surgery is a tool to help you.

I just keep thinking, it could have been ALOT worse than just a sandwich!!! I am so looking forward to this tool!

Oh well. We all have cheated. I can't imagine doing the liquid diet thing. I would have failed everyday. The thing is after surgery you just don't feel hungry and for me I was so afraid of doing something bad or getting sick I followed and still follow my surgeons program. Just make your next meal liquids.. your trying and your honest about your cheats!!!
