Poor thing! I hope they are able to get you some sort of relief until a more permanent solution is found!

Thanks Terry. Been dealing with this for years, and it is just getting so much worse. See the spine surgeon in June so we will see.

Hey guys, I had my surgery on April 2nd! I'm down 35lbs, but I have hit a stall point and have stayed at the same weight for almost 2 weeks now. I'm trying to increase my protein and change my exercise habits. But, it's discouraging!

I am going on 4 wks post op. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but I have a horrible attitude. I feel depressed unmotivated and well life just sucks attitude. I have 2 wonderful boys and a great husband. So much to be great full for but I miss food. Nothing is satisfying me and I feel like an outcast when it's time to eat with the family. Maybe I should see me physiologist? I don't know. Is it withdraws?

I'm in the same spot you are. My guess is it's part of the grieving process for losing our close friend, food. The psychologist can help you work through it. I don't feel much like eating or working out at all. I'm just laying around the house and sleeping a lot feeling sorry for myself.

Im one month today and down 28lbs still have to take pain meds to sleep but i havent taken any during the day in awhile i havent excercised any yet but my mothers day gift was a new golds gym treadmill that my husband put together last night so i'm gonna start using it today...im allowed one meal a day which is pureed 3oz of protein and 3oz of vegetables but havent been able to get in more than 3oz

I feel so bad for you. We are all going through a big life change. It is gonna take some time before we are comfortable with all of the changes. I feel the same way at times. I find my self watching my husband eat and just saying, "is that good?" I miss food too, and being able to eat whatever I want. By this time you should be able to eat most of what your family is eating, just in smaller amounts. What is your diet? Talking to someone wouldn't ever hurt, and if that's what you need to do, you should. Maybe someone on this site, who has been through it, can help you. Just know that you are not alone! Take care.
