I had a friend in high school who was probably 120 soaking wet. She would always say she was sooo fat! I used to say' date=' " if you're fat, you must think I'm the damn Goodyear blimp." That would shut her up! Come to think of it, I guess looking back, I wouldn't really call her a friend![/quote']

Man that was a good laugh! (About the goodyear blimp)

My pt doc told me today that losing the weight wont help with the pain' date=' if anything its getting worse. So now I'm looking at many months of therapy on my back and neck..... When will it ever end. I'm sorry he jumped the fence on you.[/quote']

He told me last time that no matter how much weight I lose, the spine won't realign. I have no idea what the help he was thinking today. Now I don't know what will happen with my LTD either. Got so much to deal with tomorrow. My brain is mush tonight so no more thinking for me! Thanks for the kind words

We have this saying back at my clinic...."everyone is scared of crazy" so show her your crazy face :) you might not have one tho..idk..I have one and particularly everyone else that worked with me had one too lol I think even Kevin Hart joked about that :) I can't even tell u how bad I am..I once had a particularly snide person we dealt with by making nose wrinkling and sounds like something smelled...couple days of that and she wasn't so snide...insecure. I'm such a really bad girl :(

thanks I will pick some up and give those a try. I hate the fact that the sugar free things that I used to like I can't stand now because I have a full cabinet of crystal light packets and ocean spray cran-grape mixes and can't stand to drink a full bottle of either.

We should do either a pen pal just for our april group or an exchange thing cuz I have stuff like that too that is unopened and unused but I've someone else may like it ...we have such a good group here I think it could be fun :)

I am down to 317lbs surgery weight was 363lbs on 4/16/13 and yesterday a friend of mine who Is also obese and a failed lapband pt that's gained all the weight back and lives on milkshakes and junk food says to me "so how much did u lose" so I tell her 46lbs and she says "really? U can't tell at all" I was so upset I just said "wow that was so rude" and walked away this is also the same friend that wants to do band to bypass but is too scared and won't quit smoking (she doesn't know I know she wants it but her best friend told me she had a consult with the surgeon the week I had surgery to have the revision done) also she used to keep saying "Why is it taking u so long to heal? So and so's friend had it and was fine in 2 days blah blah " Ughh some people are just rude!!!!

Sorry about her..she sounds a bit catty right now. I'm sorry tho but nobody can say if someone lost 46lbs they wouldn't be able to tell!! She just sounds a bit envious but not being mature enough to process it correctly!

I think our April group rocks!!!! I'm on here all the time and I think I even talk with y'all as much or more than the hubby(man of few words).

Haven't commented in a while but I do check in everyday to read how everyone is doing. Went to the dr the other day, I am 7 weeks out and down 39 lbs. I have been feeling really good, starting to get some energy back. Was just wondering what everyone has been doing for exercise. I have been just walking but tonight I signed up for the summer at an exercise place that has Zumba, piyo, piloxing, boot camp and hip hop exercise classes. Hoping it will be fun. I don't work summers so I'm trying to take this time to get into a good workout regemine so it's a habit when school starts back in September. Wishing you all well.

Hi!! Well..I'm gonna change up my workout some but nothing really significant now I'm doing but weights. I've struggled balancing work, long commute, and exercise with decreased energy. Sounds like u are off to a good plan tho. I just ordered hip hop abs and just got cleared from my dr to start a running regimen again. 7 weeks out and I am too! My surgery was apr 30th..what day was yours? I'm starting to feel a lot better and noticing some wiggle & jiggle so I guess that means surgery is on track? Hope u enjoy ur new exercises..let us know how u like it..I love hearing how others are doing

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
