I have decided to stop weighing because I'm getting mad....but today I pulled a pair of slacks out of the "too small" pile and then zipped right up! Woo hoo! They are a 20...which means nothing cuz I have others ...prob even some 22's that are too small. (Womens clothes sizing sucks!!!)

I'm jealous. Lol. I haven't lost for over a week. I'm trying to not get on the scale until my 1 month check up this Friday. I always get my min 60g protein. What are you supposed to get? I'm going to start doing measurements...maybe that will make me feel better.

Although...right now I feel sick. I'm at work and I just ate. Light & fit greek yogurt. Feeling kind of nauseous & shaky. I hope that I just ate too much and I don't get sick for the first time in the office.

Good lord' date=' this place makes me feel like a loser and not in a good way. Have you lost that much JUST since surgery? I've lost 24 pounds. Since surgery itself. MORE than I would have lost without surgery and I try not to judge my loss by others...but damn. What date was your surgery?[/quote']

No, from my highest weight in Feb. I have lost only about 21 since surgery and that was 4/15. I decided to teach myself how to eat prior to surgery so that I wouldn't struggle as much after with all of the changes so I lost 40 before surgery just eating healthier and waaay less food. I haven't been able to really move around until this last Thursday but feeling pretty good now.

Date of surgery 4/23. Hunger has subsided a little but I am not losing. Its been a week since my last weigh in and I gained 1.5lbs. So frustrating. I have not cheated one time. How can I gain weight eating 1/4 cup of food per meal???? Eating all the foods on my list. Grrrrrrr

Getting really tired of these sweet Protein Drinks. Did good all week getting in 60 grams. Yesterday only got in about 25. I can't stand the thought of fixing another shake!!!...Also, i did a "no no" yesterday and had 3 low fat tall house crackers. The crunch from those was amazing :) Left side pain is getting really annoying too! My two week post op appt is today. Have not been on the scale since last Monday. Can't really tell i've lost anything but my feet look skinnier :)

My feet too! I thought it was weird!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
