Hey Wayne. I started craving chocolate too and am a little over a year out. I have started eating one Fiber one brownie a day. Maybe not everyday. But it's 90 cal and has good fiber which I am always in need of and a couple of grams of Protein. So for me it's a good choice! And satisfies my craving.

I am 18 months post op and am always hungry. No dumping but get exhausted after eating to much sugar. I am starting to gain some inches but my weight has stayed the same. I don't do to much exercise and I know this is half the problem. I too am looking for advice solutions, and would appreciate your feedback.

Thanks

Helen.

This is a thread I've been searching for!!! I'm 8 months post always hungry!!! It's my running joke now. I'm always hungry! I also developed a sweet tooth and can eat chocolate and not dump. It's sooooo hard!

I bought myself fun size bag of chocolates and allow myself to eat 1-2-3 MAX per day. And I don't do it all at once one afternoon one evening and maybe one before bed or in bed. I do not do it every night but I'm aware if what I'm doing and practice will power. I do have a big bag of chocolate! Lol

Hi everyone, I'm 3 months post op.. And I've had chocolate , those little foil wrapped Easter eggs.. Instead of eating the whole bag, I had 3-4 and no dumping... Everyone is different , and you can still have a treat but just don't over do it!!

I bought sugar free fudgsicles! Hits that spot nicely! I've decided I'm just going to keep looking for sugar free stuff or bake sugar free stuff at home. There are new ways to scratch the itch, we just need to search them out. :)

I just seen that you replied. I don't feel that way. I haven't over done it. I'm in grad school, just finished comps. That's why I bought the bag. I was studying and craving. I'm done and over it too. I know my limits and know how long it takes to work off 100 calories let alone how hard it is to lose the weight even with wls.

I also don't dump. But again, I stress... I know my limits and have a huge bag and only allow myself one at a time. Most days I don't even touch it. I've done my personal best and using my wls tool but I'm human and don't want to live limited.

But please follow your doctor and don't try this a home lol :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
