What ya eating tonight?

Recommended Posts

I had Lean Cuisine Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes. Ate almost the whole thing' date=' tasted so good, now overly full.

I see that earlier someone said that they are eating between 200-300 calories per meal. Most of mine are under 200. I'm only getting in like 500-600 calories a day. Anyone else?

That was me. Granted I've been eating high Protein and lots of meat and cheese. And it's not always low fat cheese because let's face it - I'm eating so little it may as well taste good haha.

I get between 500-600 a day too. I am 7 weeks out tomorrow. I am never hungry and have to force Protein. Weirdly, once I have eaten something I don't want it again.

Same here. Leftovers are the worst. And they tend to get stuck. But my calories are the same give of take and my date is the same as well.

Had a boca chicken patty with some cheese and ketchup. Took one bite too many. Feel like I'm dying. Ate a few papaya enzyme. Can't quit burping. Ugh. Like a brick in my chest.

Wow! I get like 1,000-1,200 calories in a day EASILY! Is there something wrong with me?? I have to reevaluate what I'm eating. I know I'm eating more carbs than I probably should...

I eat about 1k-1200 cal/day too. I'm preggo tho but compared to pre-op, I think it's fine.

Gonna eat salad tonight. Had a beef pot pie but didn't realize it was 2 servings so I'm way over my calories today. Having a bad food day today :-(

Salad question... I am 8 weeks out how long should I wait to eat salad ? It's my faaaaavorite food and it's so hard to wait !

I was allowed to start at 7-8 weeks, but, as we see all the time, each doc is different! I lived off salad fora month once I could start em! :)

I agree! If I'm going to eat cheese it's going to be good cheese! I can't do more than an oz at a time anyway. :-)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
