Sounds fabulous! You had any problems with the corn so far?

i tried to eat around it, my family loves it so i reduced it from two cans to one-but when i did get in a piece i just made sure to chew chew chew and didn't have any issues. the chicken was the hardest for me out of all the ingredients-but just because it's the most filling and i wanted to inhale the soup! i haven't had issues with chicken like many others, just the heaviness. i make sure when i eat it that it very moist. i would think this Soup would still be good pureed, and even w/out the chicken b/c of the chicken broth. it's very filling. :]

It's ok, trust me that you haven't. That just means the pouch is accepting what you're putting in it. As I got further along is when I had issues with it. I would forget and start eating too fast,or chicken was too dry. There are just various reasons. So just enjoy that you haven't yet and hopefully won't. Congrats!!!

Don't forget about papaya enzymes everyone. You can get them at Walmart, chewable. Really does help if something isn't sitting to well with your pouch. My daughter has even taken them when her dinner didn't sit right in her tummy. She loved that it helped her relatively quickly. Just an FYI :-) that it is mommy approved for my kiddo too, lol :-)

I put kidney beans' date=' black Beans, navy beans, and chili beans, ground turkey, can of crushed tomatoes, Tomato Soup in the crock pot. You season how you want with ground peppers, chili powder, garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, and a squirt of spicy mustard. Just examples of what I normally use. I also use the food prosper and chop up broccoli, spinach, or other veggies my family doesn't eat. Helps disguise them and adds great flavor!

You can buy hormel turkey chili in the store 29 grams of Protein per serving. I also had surgery on the 21st and because of my current portion size I've just bought the hormel and eat of it for the week. I add cheese and have had ritz wheat crackers and some fritos corn chips (not many) doc o.k.ed it. I've been lucky no complications and I'm eating well so far....knock n wood.[/quote']

Wow !!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
