Last year I went through several of the first steps to have gastric bypass only to find my insurance had a specific exclusion for weight loss surgery. This year my employer has a new insurance - It's a Cigna HMO. I'm hoping they'll pay for it. As soon as the new year gets here I'm going to try it again. I need positive thoughts sent my way!!

I have Cigna & they required only 3 months of NUT + a couple of more things. Google Cigna bariatric medical policy for more info. Hopefully your employer did not exclude this from their negotiated package. Keeping fingers crossed for you!

its up to your company if its included i got cinga hmo my company put it in cinga approved my band removel but not rny had a confrence call with dr it was approved in 30 minutes total time for submission was 2 day for approvel good luck
