Walked my neighborhood...and realized the walk that 2 months ago took me 35 minutes and exhausted me, now takes 22 minutes and I'm still raring to go! Apparently time to add another loop on our path!

  • Ok so I'm a postal worker and have the day off so started exercise early... Rode stationary bike for 25 min and then swam 15 laps.. Hubby and I are off to walk 2 miles... It's a beautiful day in Oklah

Just got back from an early morning swim....will walk two miles later with the dog.

Tonight I did 2.5 miles on the elliptical & some weights. I'm only three weeks in on doing the elliptical & I love it :)

I did this evil thing called Aqua boot camp. Holy shit! Boot camp it was!

My Thursday night water aerobics class is turning into this. Can't wait but am a little scared! I know it will be good though.

Yeah, I'll definitely go back, but it's beyond the pale. Don't even know how to calculate it on mfp....maybe strenuous swimming?

Maybe a combo of both land boot camp and swimming. I just know that I'm starting to get more out of my cross training than water but I still do it to help the knees & give me a break.

I did Zumba today for the first time in years! It was soo much fun! I didn't know I could get this 300lb body to move like that. lol. I can't wait to have surgery so I can do it and look as good as I felt while dancing.

The other plus was that my husband and all 4 of my kids (my boys are 17 & 11 and my girls are 7 & 5) were there dancing by my side. I held an 90 minute Zumba Marathon fundraiser and I didn't expect my husband to dance. He was supposed to be there to help register people and collect donations. And low and behold, I look up and there's my big 6'7", 440lb husband dancing away. It was awesome! I think my family is on the way to a healthier lifestyle.

I just had to share my joy! :-)

Well today I changed 3 tires and walked 4 miles. Looking forward to tomorrow.

I am addicted to Zumba - I did it for a year an a half before the surgery and couldn't wait to start again!!! So much fun !!
