Can I Count My Shakes As Fluid Intake?

I'm sitting watching my son take a bath and drinking a 12 oz protein shake can I count it as my water intake? I only got 32 oz of crystal light In today and don't think I can stomach another 32 oz before bed. Sometimes 64 oz seems to much dunno what do you guys think?

My surgeon and nutritionist said the liquid in my shake counts towards my 64 oz for the day. If I drink milk..that counts too.

Good cuz I feel like I'm in Fluid overload sometimes.

I hear ya there! For me right now I can't drink another protein shake. After my rounds with antibiotics they seem to go right through me. So I REALLY have to get in all 64 ounces. SF popsicles help though.

Sf pops is my savior im 5 1/2 weeks out and still have several sf pops a day to help the fluid intake they go down so easy but yes any liquid is counted toward your fluid even sf jello counts according to my doctor.
