Today was my 1st set of appointments. I had my lab work and EKG done and met with the nurse. Then I had my bariatric assessment with the Dr. , followed with the psych eval. All cleared me to go on to the next step. Ok its sinking in this is going to happen.

so excited... just got my call for my next steps. meeting with the surgeon next week and the nutritionist on the 29th. looking forward to it.

thank you. it made my day. my boyfriend and I have both been hit with the recent news of our moms having cancer.. each has a diff type of it. so it's been rough over here. I know it will be alot easier for my mom to pull thru it then his. :-(

I'm sorry that you guys have to go through that I know what it's like basically going through the same with my dad, mom in heaven 14 years now. Just keep them lifted up in pray and be there for them. Sending a Big Prayer ur way.

Awesome! I just made my first set of appointments today! I need to take 2 education classes at the hospital first on Bariatric Surgery, then I have scheduled 2 appointments for one morning, one with the PA and one with the Nutritionist. Then a month later an appointment scheduled with the Dietician. I'm happy to get things moving!

looking forward to my first visit with my surgeon tomorrow. a little nervous but yet very excited.
