Hi jknap....are you on strictly liquids? What type of liquids...anything that can be sipped through a straw like smoothies or protein shakes only? There are lots of ways to "spruce" up shakes that would help be more filling if you're allowed adding stuff.

How long are they keeping you on the liquid diet?

I have been on liquids, protein shakes, since 8/31. I have my moments when it gets really hard.

Oh believe me, I was there myself and even now after having to have shakes for so long...I find them hard to get down some days.

Are you able to have anything more mixed into them? Like a piece of frozen banana blended or fruit. It would help fill you. Although......you're surgery really is right around the corner! Happy thoughts and determination will get ya there :)

I know it's so close, and I'm almost there, but this is a huge challenge. Wishes to all!

It's definitely not easy before or after surgery...but you can do it girl! GO FOR IT! :)

You can do it!

It's the first couple off days when you go through cold turkey but keep focused on your goal and think just a small part off your life but I know how hard it was done it when I had my band fitted still hate milk now but got to go through it again for my bypass
